Our "Emu S7i-C242" is a professional micro server for 19 inch rack mounting. With just 1U height and a depth of only 25cm it is the smallest rack-mountable system with socketed processor and XEON support in our product-portfolio. The system can be equipped with intel Pentium, Core i3 and XEON E processors of the "Coffee-Lake-R" generation.
This system is built around a compact Asus P11C-I mini ITX motherboard. In the basic configuration, the system is equipped with a modern intel Pentium Gold G5400 dual-core processor (2 x 3,7GHz / "Coffee Lake") and 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4 RAM. Optionally, different processor types as well as a maximum memory expansion up to 64GB RAM (also with ECC) are possible. Different hard disks or SSD´s can be configured into the system - please choose from the options listed below.
The professional equipment of the system also includes two gigabit LAN ports (2 x intel i210AT) as well as a remote management port (IPMI 2.0 / usable with the optional ASMB9-iKVM management plug-in card). The integrated Aspeed AST2500 graphics-card has a D-Sub VGA connector. On the back side there are four USB 3.1 ports (2 x Gen1 / 2 x Gen2) and a serial port. Up to two 2.5" SSD drives and one M.2 PCIe SSD can be integrated in the housing. A software RAID can be configured for SATA drives via intel RST. The system is cooled by three 40mm high-performance fans and a special Dynatron radial fan on the processor side, which dissipates the waste heat of the processor towards the back of the case. All components of this system were designed for a very energy-efficient and economical operation - with the power-supply having an 80PLUS Gold energy-efficiency certification.

After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. In addition to the server system, the scope of supply includes the complete mainboard accessories including a printed manual, one blue 2.0m Cat6a network-cable, a blue power cable, a set of small parts and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.
