The IPC 2U-20255 is a medium-length 2HE server chassis that is suited for various uses and whose quality of material and manufacturing is superior. The chassis is 55cm long, with additional 3.8cm for the front-mounted and removable handles. Similar chassis are available with 40cm and 48cm length.
The four 5.25" bays on the front can be equipped variably. By default each two 5.25" bays on the left and right hold a module for up to three 3.5" hard drives. The modules can be removed and replaced with backplanes or optical 5.25" drives. Between those two modules are three bays in the centre, one holding the front panel, that provide space for up to two 3.5" hard disks or up to three 2.5" hard drives / SSDs. The front panel holds two USB 2.0 ports beside the controls and LEDs. The chassis is outfitted with low-profile expansion slots. We offer an optional modification to full-profile expansion slots tilted by 90° that can be used with a riser card.
