The IPC 3098-S is a very robust, high-quality 19 inch rack-mount chassis with a height of 3U for mounting mini ATX, mictro ATX, mini ATX and standard ATX mainboards.
Its generous dimensions as well as the amount of drive bays that can be equipped variably and openings for five full-height expansion cards allow various applications. Mainboards of different form factors and sizes can be mounted. Be aware when using a standard ATX mainboard, the outer two expansion slots are covered by the power-supply.
The four 5.25 inch drive bays located behind lockable front cover can be equipped with backplanes, two are already equipped with adapters for mounting 3.5" drives. Two additional 3.5" drives can be mounted.
Also located behind the front cover are the two dip-switches -providing a distinct haptical feedback - for power and reset. Furthermore there are two status LEDs for power and HDD activity as well as two USB 2.0 ports.
The ATX power supply to be mounted should vent backwards for an optimal airflow. The openings at the front hold dust filters, two 80mm fans are mounted at the back.
Mounting angles and handles for the particular application can be (un-)mounted individually.
