This highly versatile and robust 19-inch rack-mounted 1U server-system is based on the latest intel "Haswell" processor-generation and features dual gigabit LAN as well as wireless-LAN. Its short and compact 19-inch 1U server-chassis with a depth of only 25cm encloses its high-quality components by Gigabyte, intel and Kingston very securely.
The "Emu S2i" is equipped with the latest industry-standards like USB 3.0 ports, six SATA-600 connectors with intel RAID capability, two HDMI graphics connectors and one DVI-I connector. Additionally, it provides you with dual gigabit LAN connectors and also wireless LAN (802.11 b/g/n - 2.4GHz). This highly communicative equipment makes this system a perfect basis for network-based applications of all types - either via network-cable or for wireless pleasures.
Built around a compact Gigabte GA-H87N-WIFI mainboard, the systems base-configuration consists of a power-efficient intel Core i3-4170 dual-core-processor (2 x 3,7GHz) and 4GB DDR3 Kingston RAM. Cooling of the processor in this very compact chassis is provided by a special radial-cooler, which blows the heated air through the rear of the system. Optionally, we equip the system with a range of different processor-types and a maximum amount of 16GB RAM. It is also possible to equip the system with different harddisks and SSD's within the configuration-tool.
If you are interested in a configuration of this system that is not listed in the configuration-tool, please contact us directly. We will prepare an individual offer for your desired system layout then.
After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are - apart from the server-system - the complete mainboard-accessories including the manual, a WIFI antenna, a power-cord (please contact us if you need a special cord) and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices.
When using a 3,5" harddisk in this system, there is not enough room left for the integration of an expansion-card with a riser-card. This integration is only possible, when using 2,5" harddisks or SSD´s.
