yakkaroo Serversystems was established in 2003 by its owner-manager Ralf Böhm in Darmstadt during his years of study at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he also served as a network-administrator at that time. After ending his studies at the TU Darmstadt, the further expansion of the company in the internet was carried out with the start of our onlineshop in 2005. We relocated from Darmstadt to Berlin-Friedrichshain during the year of 2008. Since 2016 our company is now situated in bigger premises in Berlin-Lichtenberg (Hohenschönhausen).
The main focus of our company is on the distribution of specialized hardware for servers and industrial PC´s - for professional applications as well as for demanding home-users. Our product-portfolio also includes a range of complete server-systems - either "off the shelf" from our series of ready-made systems or tailor-made according to the requirements and configuration-specifications of our customers. One specialty of ours is our orientation towards extremely compact and robust 19-inch rack-mount systems for the installation in highly confined spaces.
