We build the "Emu XL"-series based on an extremely compact 19-inch rackmount chassis with an exceptional height of 1.5U and only 28.5cm length. The case offers direct front-side access for up to two hot-swappable 3.5 inch SATA/SAS harddisks plus internal installation options for a maximum of two 2.5 inch SSDs and one M.2 SSD. It is designed to run extremely silent and can be equipped with the most modern intel processors with intel "Coffee-Lake" micro-architecture, ranging from intel Pentium Gold and intel Core i3 up to intel XEON-E processors.
The server-systems of the "Emu XL"-series meet all expectations that are being set for modern mini-servers: they are compact, silent, robust and very powerful. They provide data-security (for example with a mirror-RAID) as well as maximum connectivity and work extremely fast - also due to the possibility of SSD or M.2 PCIe SSD system-drive integration.
The "Emu S7i-C242 XL PRO" is a professional mini-server: the system can be equipped with the most modern intel XEON-E processors (Coffee Lake) and provides two gigabit LAN ports (2 x intel) plus a dedicated remote-management port (IPMI 2.0 / usable with the optional integration of the ASMB9-iKVM management module).
The integrated Aspeed AST2500 graphics card features one D-Sub VGA port. Additionally, four USB 3.1 ports (2 x Gen1 / 2 x Gen2) are integrated in the rear of the system - as well as one serial COM port. A total of six SATA-600 connectors with intel RSTe RAID support can be perfectly combined with the two front-side 3.5" harddisk-trays. We recommend the installation of two mirrored data-disks in the harddisk trays. Additionally, up to two 2.5" SSD drives plus one M.2 PCIe SSD can be integrated as internal system-drives.
Cooling of the system is being provided by exceptionally silent running fans, which allow the system to be placed close to workspaces or even in a residential environment. All components of this system were designed for a very energy-efficient and economical operation - with the power-supply having an 80PLUS Gold energy-efficiency certification.
Built around a very compact Asus P11C-I mainboard, the base-configuration of the system is equipped with a modern intel Pentium Gold G5400 dual-core processor (2 x 3,7GHz / "Coffee Lake") as well as 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4-RAM main-memory.
Optionally, we equip the system with a range of different processor-types and a maximum amount of 64GB RAM. For ideal performance we recommend the configuration of an intel XEON-E processor with DDR4-2466 ECC memory. It is also possible to equip the system with different harddisks, SSD's, a M.2 PCIe SSD and remote-management module within the configuration-tool.

After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are - apart from the server-system - the complete mainboard-accessories, a blue power-cord (please contact us if you need a special cord), a blue 2.0m Cat6 patch-cable and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.

Very happy with the server, very good service I ordered a server with an intel XEON E-2236, ECC memory, and a spinning hard disk. The server is really well built, with a clean cable management. I would hesitate to call it “silent”, but I still need to play with the fans settings. It is more silent than my freezer however, so yes, “silent” for a rack server. Delivered settings use a manual configuration with case fans set to 15% and CPU fan to 65%. When CPU is fully loaded at 3.4 GHz, temperature is stable at 55 °C. I run FreeBSD 13 on it without any problem. Packaging was great, and there is a real human answering to emails.

Der Server wurde sehr gut geschützt verpackt und läuft bis dato ohne Probleme. Habe bestimmt nicht die letzte Komponente hier gekauft und kann Yakkaroo nur weiterempfehlen. Danke!

Sehr ordentlich aufgebaut aber nicht so leise wie in der Beschreibung. Das System wurde nach Wunsch sauber aufgebaut und hinterlässt einen sehr positiven Ersteindruck. Leider ist der Server lauter als gedacht, was in erster Linie wohl an den ungeregelten Frontlüftern liegt, die selbst bei nur 21 Grad auf dem Board mit mehr als 2300 RPM laufen. Das ist nicht wirklich laut aber bei der Beschreibung Auf Silent-Betreib ausgelegt erwarte ich zumindest wenn der Server idle mehr. Außerdem hat der ausgewählte Paketdienst den Außenkarton sichtbar schlecht behandelt. Gott sei Dank hat Yakkaroo den Server aber so gut verpackt, dass nichts passiert ist.
