SATA/SAS backplane for mounting of up to four 2.5" hard drives / SSDs, that for instance are combined into a RAID array. The use of a backplane allows an easy replacement of hard drives - also during operation if a hotswap-supporting controller is used.

With this backplane four SSDs or HDDs can be mounted in one sole 5.25" hard disk bay and individually be secured with a lock. The disks are cooled by two integrated 40mm fans.
