The silent-running 'Emu A1-N100 Silent' is one of our most cost-effective 19-inch 1U systems. It is based on an extremely energy-efficient intel N100 quad-core processor ("Alder Lake-N") and the basic version is equipped with Gigabit LAN, USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, DisplayPort, HDMI and D-Sub VGA ports as well as 8GB DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM RAM. An NVMe M.2 SSD (M.2. 2280/PCIe 3.0 x2) and a WLAN module can be integrated onboard. Various expansion options such as the installation of a SATA SSD and a RAM expansion up to 32GB are optionally possible.

This very short (only 28,5cm deep) 19 inch rack-mount chassis with 1.5U height supports the installation of mini ITX mainboards. The chassis is equipped with a SATA/SAS backplane on its front-side, supporting up to two 3,5" SATA/SAS harddisks. Due to the height of 1.5U, the chassis can be used with regular mainboard port-shields on its back-side.

It offers integrated quad-gigabit LAN, a maximum memory-capacity up to 128GB (reg. ECC DDR4) as well as IPMI 2.0 support. The system is recommended for firewall appliances and VoIP telephony systems, because of its networking capabilities and its compact and very energy-efficient layout.

The case has two horizontal full-height expansion slots for easy installation of plug-in cards (e.g. dual slot graphics card) via optional riser card. Due to the exceptional height of 1.5U, standard mainboard port bezels can also be used at the rear.
Dual Mini Backplane for the installation of two 2.5 inch SAS/SATA hard disks or SSDs in an internal 3.5 inch drive bay. The backplane is ideally suited for setting up a RAID-1 array in a small PC case (e.g. HTPC, Miniserver). The frame is completely made of robust metal and can accommodate HDDs and SSDs up to a maximum height of 9.5mm each.
