The 'Emu A9 XL PRO' is based on the microserver-optimized and extremely energy-efficient intel Atom 'Denverton' C3338 dual-core processor. It offers integrated quad-gigabit LAN, a maximum memory-capacity up to 128GB (reg. ECC DDR4) as well as IPMI 2.0 support. The system is recommended for firewall appliances and VoIP telephony systems, because of its networking capabilities and its compact and very energy-efficient layout.
The "Emu XL" series is built by us in extremely compact 19-inch enclosures with an exceptional height of 1.5 units and only 28.5cm length. The case offers direct front-side access for up to two hot-swappable 3.5 inch SATA/SAS harddisks plus internal installation options for a maximum of two 2.5 inch SSDs.
With a TDP of just 9W, the integrated intel C3338 "Denverton" dual-core Celeron processor is one of the most energy-efficient and effective processors on the market today. The high-quality "SuperMicro A2SDi-2C-HLN4F" motherboard offers four Gigabit LAN ports and up to eight internal SATA ports (6.0 Gb / sec), remote management via IPMI 2.0 (with a dedicated fifth LAN port), support for up to to 128GB DDR4-1866 registered ECC DIMMs as well as an onboard graphics card with D-Sub VGA port. Using the integrated PCI-E 3.0 x4 slot, the system can be extended with a flat and very short plug-in card via an optional riser card. We offer the possibility of extending the system with an M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD via an extremely short special adapter. Cooling of the system is being provided by exceptionally silent running fans, which allow the system to be placed close to workspaces or even in a residential environment. All components of this system were designed for a very energy-efficient and economical operation - with the power-supply having an 80PLUS Gold energy-efficiency certification.
After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are - apart from the server-system - the complete mainboard-accessories, a blue power-cord (please contact us if you need a special cord), a blue 2.0m Cat6 patch-cable and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.
