The 'Emu A1-N4120-23 Silent' is one of the most cost-effective of our 19-inch 1U systems. It is based on an extremely energy saving intel Celeron N4120 quad-core processor ("Gemini Lake") and is equipped in the basic version with Gigabit LAN, USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, D-Sub VGA port, HDMI connector and 8GB DDR4-2400 RAM. There is also a possibility to integrate a NVMe PCIe Gen2 x2 M.2 SSD onboard. Various expansion options - such as the installation of SSD´s and a RAM expansion up to 16GB - are optionally possible.
Purchasing a rugged 19-inch rack-mount computer system with a 1U form factor is now possible even with a limited budget. This cost-effective system is suitable for most simple tasks and provides all the basic capabilities of a modern PC system. It is based on the modern "Gemini Lake" series of power-saving Celeron processors and is well suited as a 4K video player due to its support of HDMI 4K as well as the integration option of a PCIe NVMe SSD.
The very compact and robust 1U housing is suitable for deployment under tougher ambient conditions. The front-panel contains the usual controls and LED´s as well as two USB 3.0 ports. Within the 250mm short case, we integrate a Gigabyte N4120I-H motherboard with intel Celeron N4120 quad-core CPU and 8GB Kingston DDR4-2400 RAM. The motherboard offers one Gigabit LAN port, an onboard graphics card with HDMI 4K and D-Sub VGA port, an onboard sound card, several USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and of course two internal SATA ports (6.0 Gb/sec.). Furthermore, the system can be equipped with a fast fixed memory for the operating system via NVMe PCIe Gen2 x2 M.2 SSD (max 10 Gb/sec.).
With a TDP of only 6W, the intel N4120 Quad-Core Celeron processor is one of the most economical and energy-efficient processors on the market. In the basic version the system comes with 8GB DDR4-2400 main-memory (max. 16GB). In addition, one or two 2.5" SSD´s/HDD's and one NVMe PCIe Gen2 x2 M.2 SSD can be integrated into the system. After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are - apart from the server-system - the complete mainboard-accessories, a screw-kit, a power-cord (please contact us if you need a special cord) and two matching short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.
When using a 3.5" harddisk in this system, there is not enough room left for the integration of an expansion-card with a riser-card. This integration is only possible, when using 2.5" harddisks or SSD´s.
We recommend this system for operation under Microsoft Windows 10/11.
