Carrierless Icy Box hard drive mobile rack for 3.5 inch SATA hard drives. No tools or screws are required to install the hard drives, which allows for a quick exchange. The mobile rack fits into a standard 5.25 inch drive bay. Its housing is made almost entirely of metal, which ensures efficient heat dissipation, saving a noisy fan. A rubber padding inside the case also provides good noise insulation. The SATA III connector (compatible to SATA I, II and III) is a so-called NSS connector (Non-Scratch-SATA). Up to more than 50,000 hard disk changes are possible without any problems. A lock ensures that unauthorized persons cannot gain access to the hard disk.
