The IP-40 is a chassis for Thin mini-ITX mainboards which are powered by external power supply and support low I/O shields. Please note that this chassis is not compatible with regular mini ITX mainboards, but only with the lower "Thin mini-ITX"-standard.
Thanks to the closed design and the integrated cooling fins, it is the ideal candidate for a fanless system with passive cooling. In conjunction with the optional IP-3 cooler, CPUs with a TDP of up to 70W can be installed and operated entirely without active fan elements.
The case can be attached to almost any supporting surface (e.g. on the wall) using the standard mounting brackets, optionally using the additionally available VESA mount behind the monitor. Data can also be conveniently uploaded via the two integrated USB 3.0 front connections.
