Sleeve bearing
Fans with sleeve bearings are usually relatively quiet in operation and can therefore mostly also be used for silent systems. However, they have rather low speeds and are not as robust as fans with ball bearings. For continuous operation in server systems or industrial environments with high-speed 24/7 operation, we rather recommend models with ball-bearing.

Very quiet 120mm silent case-fan from Arctic Cooling with fluid sleeve bearing.
Barely audible 120mm silent case fan of the German cooling company "Noiseblocker" with double plain bearing. Four Noiseblocker mounting slics are included in the accessory pack.
Very small 30mm PC fan from Titan for chipset ventilation and similar specific tasks.
40mm case fan made by Titan with a very low noise level
50mm Titan case-fan with speedometer signal and a maximum noise level of 23 dB/A as a result of liquid plain bearings.
High quality and extremely quiet running 60mm case fan from Blacknoise/Noiseblocker. Nearly silent operation with a maximum noise level of 15 dB/A thanks to special NB-NanoSLI bearing.
High-quality 60mm case fan from Silverstone with PWM for use in server or industrial applications. This is a very good and powerful 60mm fan, which we also install in some of the complete systems we manufacture. The hydrodynamic bearing (HDB) of this fan also ensures a long service life. The 35cm long connection cable is directly connected to a short socket on the fan. Alternatively, with an included speed reduction cable, the fan can be operated in silent mode at only max. 2,850upm.
Flat 60mm chassis fan made by Titan with a very low noise level
Inexpensive 60mm Titan case fan with speedometer signal and a maximum noise level of 26 dB/A as a result of liquid slide bearings.
Low cost 80mm standard case fan from Arctic Cooling with PWM, Fluid Dynamic Bearing and max 30dB/A at 2000 rpm.
