The very compact 'Emu A7-N3710' is an efficient, cost-effective and robust 1U system for network services of many kinds. It offers Quad-Gigabit LAN onboard as well as IPMI 2.0 for remote maintenance via dedicated additional network port. The system works with an extremely power-efficient intel Pentium N3710 quad-core processor ("Braswell") and is equipped with 4GB Kingston DDR3L-1600 RAM in the basic version. Various expansion options such as the installation of SSD's and a RAM expansion up to 8GB are optionally possible.
Four integrated Gigabit LAN ports and the very energy-efficient design make the device particularly suitable as an ultra-compact network appliance. The device with a depth of only 250mm is based on a SuperMicro X11SBA-LN4F motherboard with a passively cooled quad-core intel Pentium N3710 processor. With a TDP of just 6W, this is one of the most economical and effective processors available on the market.
In addition to the four Gigabit LAN ports (with intel I210-AT chipset), the motherboard also offers an onboard graphics card with HDMI, Displayport and D-Sub VGA ports, two internal SATA ports (2 x SATA-600) and two internal serial ports (COM ports). A PCI-E 2.0 x1 slot (mechanically designed as a PCI-E x8 slot) can be used to expand the system via an optional riser card.
The very compact 1U chassis with 250W Enhance FlexATX power supply and 80 PLUS Bronze certification serves as a robust platform - even for use in tougher environmental conditions. Up to two 2.5" SSD's (alternatively 2.5" HDD's) can be integrated in the system. Please select your desired configuration from the options listed below.
The complete system is subjected to an extensive test by us before delivery. The scope of delivery includes the server system, the complete mainboard accessories, two matching short SATA connection cables, mounting screws for the server cabinet, a blue 2.0m CAT 6A network cable, a blue power cable and a set of small parts. The system is provided without operating system.
When using a 3,5" harddisk in this system, there is not enough room left for the integration of an expansion-card with a riser-card. This integration is only possible, when using 2,5" harddisks or SSD´s.
